Hi friends!
It's certainly been a while since you've seen me around here, I know. A lot has taken place over the last couple of months - some good, some bad, all eventful. As it's the last day of September, I figured now would be a great time to do some reflecting. I haven't written anything quite like this since my Summer Recap last year, so it's definitely a strange feeling, but I've taken some distance from the craziness that has happened over the last 30 days to share with you all a snippet of the stuff that's been going on in my life.

I'm mainly writing this for my own pleasure, but I'm hoping others will be able to take away something from it too as I'll also be setting some new goals for the month ahead. Enjoy!

Oh hey there!

No, your eyes no dot deceive you. I'm back with another hair colour tutorial/diy!

Truth be told, I used to love doing these sorts of posts, as evident with my ombre hair series from a whopping FIVE years ago.

Then came the brunette to blonde transformation, a crazy phase of cherry red hair, and soon enough after a simple review of the BedHead haircare range, I was back to my dark roots (literally).

I struggled for a long time with gross gingery-copper hair, but after toning the living shit out of it, I was back to a nice silvery-lilac blonde, and I suppose that's how this current look actually came to life.

Hi all, welcome back! Today I'm going to be talking about something that isn't within the usual niche of my blog, something which is more focused on health, specifically women's health. So, if that isn't really your thing, that's totally fine and I'll see you next time! I wanted to talk about this particular condition as not only is it not very well known (considering it affects a massive 1 in 5 women!), but it also happens to be something I've dealt with throughout my life as a teenager and well into adulthood. Like many others, however, I had never heard of the disorder and went by frustratingly trying to understand why I was different in more ways than one to other girls my age.

So, without further ado, let's jump into the very basics.

Hello you gorgeous bunch! I'm back again with a blog post I've had planned for a looong time: my skincare routine. Day to day I usually apply a cleanser and moisturiser, but I won't deny that I will sometimes get lazy and splash my face with a bit of water, skipping the products altogether. The same goes for nightime: I always try to remove my make-up before I go to bed, even after a late night out (I get serious acne breakouts otherwise!) but I could definitely do better with the cleansing and toning.

However, at least once a week, I make the effort of giving myself some much needed tlc with an at-home facial. I started making this a habit as a way of just chilling out after a hard day, or even simply as a remedy for boredom, but overtime it's gradually ingrained itself into an important part of my skincare routine.

Having had acne throughout my teens to early adulthood, as well as dealing with the ramifications of the hormonal hell that is PCOS, my skin has been very prone to problems that made it difficult to find a product that works for me. My skin right now is definitely combination, maybe erring more on the side of dry than oily, and that means that sometimes my skin can appear clear and blemish-free (excluding the acne scars that become visible with a bare face), and other times it will resemble a literal greasy pizza with spots in the most awkward of places - the tip of the nose, middle of the forehead, smack bang on the cheek - I've had it all.

So, as a coping method for the complicated chaos that is my skin, I came up with this DIY spa-facial routine that leaves your skin not only looking great, but feeling great too. So, light some candles, stick on your humidifier, and play some soothing background meditation music, because it's time to get extra and give your skin the blissful treat that it deserves.
