The Dress Addict: "Princess Peach" Dress #3

Tuesday, 11 June 2013

This post is part of an ongoing series of my addiction to dresses and insight into my endless collection. Read the first post here.

Hello Stylicias!

How are we all? Enjoying the summer I hope!

I know it's been a while since I did a new 'Dress Addict' post. In fact, I believe the last one I did was actually in April (woopsie!). Which, is pretty shocking, as I did make out that I was going to be doing them everyday, but I feel like I should also apologise for bringing out another late post in general.. it's taking some getting used to getting back into a consistent routine haha, but I'll keep trying!

But, now that I have a lot more free time and am no longer incredibly busy, I have the time for this series to continue again. Yay. And I promise, this time, they will be more frequent!

Let's unveil dress number 3...
 Princess Peach

The Story Behind It:

This beauty is about eight months old, and was received as a gift in October 2012 from a friend with excellent taste.
I got this dress as a 19th birthday present, and I believe it is again from one of the best high street stores around, H&M

I chose the name 'Princess Peach' for this one because, asides from resembling the Super Mario Brothers character Peach and her poofy pink dress, it's one of those dresses that whenever you throw it on, you instantly feel like a princess!

My friend certainly made the right choice in buying this for me - I've always been a girly girl, my favourite colour is the same as it was when I was nine (pink!) and, clearly, I'm a sucker for pretty dresses.

It's feminine, classy, floaty - and comfy! So, it was my staple piece dress for Spring for all of these reasons.

My dress rating:

I have nothing bad to say about this one - it's versatile enough to wear as a cute daytime assemble or at a party with a pair of heels!

    1. Hi Shayne!

I completely agree - dresses that you can twirl around in bring out the little girls in all of us I think!

Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely day :-)
