My Winter Bucket List | Countdown To New Years!

Sunday, 22 December 2013

It occurred to me today that we only have less than one month left of 2013. This thought actually scares me a bit, and pulls me into quite a reflective mood. For example, how well I have spent the past year? Have I spent the majority of it doing things I love, being thankful, taking risks, taking chances, trying new things?

Luckily I'm quite happy to say that I have achieved some of these things. I've definitely done things that required stepping out of my comfort zone, met so many new people, made some friends, lost some, made some mistakes, learnt some lessons etc. I've had some great times and I've had some challenging ones. Through the good and the bad, I've certainly made some lifetime memories, but I don't want it to end there.

I have less than one more month to gain even more life experiences, perhaps even turn things around for myself. At the least, I just want to enjoy the last bit of 2013 we have. Life is far too short to be miserable, after all!

Feel free to join me on this mission, and use some of my ideas listed below for your very own December bucket list.. and do let me know if you think of any more cool suggestions :-)

Here we go!

What do you have planned for the rest of 2013?

Have a wonderful Christmas and New Years, stylicias!

Review | Wrappz Phone Case for iPhone 5c (in Pink)

Monday, 16 December 2013

Hi guys!

Long time no see, I know.. I have got to stop making disappearing acts haven't I? I'm so good at this now I should be part of a magician's show!

Seriously though, I know it's been a very long time since I last blogged, and I guess all it's really down to is the fact that I'm having a really hectic December. I've just started a new job and am in most days when I'm not at college, and as a result of that new job and other new people I've met over the past few months, I'm finally having a bit more of a social life at the weekends, haha.

So as of right now, I can't make any frequent commitments to this blog. I'll definitely try and post whenever I have a spare minute to myself, but whilst I'm adjusting to all these new changes in my life and building up a solid routine that I can live with without wanting to pull my hair out, you'll have to bare with me!

ANYWAY.. Let's begin with my review!

About a fortnight ago, Wrappz.com contacted me kindly asking whether I would like to write a review on one of their phone cases in exchange for a free case and a lovely discount for all my readers.. and of course, how could I refuse?!

I have actually purchased a few phone skins from Wrappz before, back in the days when I had my Blackberry Curve 9320, and even then I was pretty impressed. What I love about the cases and skins, though, is that they're all customisable, so you can choose from your own photos or select from hundreds of free designs on the website.

As you can see above, I chose a design based on one of my favourite photographs of beautiful pink architecture, and I have to say - I'm very happy with how it turned out on the case!

My screen could definitely do with a wipe!
The cases are specially designed using temperature resistant polymers along with the highest quality materials, and from what I can tell so far, it definitely is a high-quality product. The case feels sturdy, not flimsy or easily breakable, and I will admit I have dropped my phone a few times since buying the case.. no damage has been visibly done to the case, and most importantly, none to the phone!

I also think the case looks really good against the pink colour of the iPhone 5c. I was rather worried at first about whether it would look wrong - I guess, when you already have a coloured phone, you have to be careful about the cases you get! But, I was pleasantly surprised, and am really happy with the overall product.

I'm also delighted to say that I can give you all an exclusive discount to get your very own personalised phone skin!

Just head on over to Wrappz.com and type in "freeskin" at the checkout - the only thing you'll need to pay for is postage.

Thanks for the free case Wrappz - I would definitely recommend!

What do you guys think of the case? Where do you like to buy yours from? :-)

Have a fantastic week, hopefully I'll see you again before Christmas! X
