Review | Wrappz Phone Case for iPhone 5c (in Pink)

Monday, 16 December 2013

Hi guys!

Long time no see, I know.. I have got to stop making disappearing acts haven't I? I'm so good at this now I should be part of a magician's show!

Seriously though, I know it's been a very long time since I last blogged, and I guess all it's really down to is the fact that I'm having a really hectic December. I've just started a new job and am in most days when I'm not at college, and as a result of that new job and other new people I've met over the past few months, I'm finally having a bit more of a social life at the weekends, haha.

So as of right now, I can't make any frequent commitments to this blog. I'll definitely try and post whenever I have a spare minute to myself, but whilst I'm adjusting to all these new changes in my life and building up a solid routine that I can live with without wanting to pull my hair out, you'll have to bare with me!

ANYWAY.. Let's begin with my review!

About a fortnight ago, contacted me kindly asking whether I would like to write a review on one of their phone cases in exchange for a free case and a lovely discount for all my readers.. and of course, how could I refuse?!

I have actually purchased a few phone skins from Wrappz before, back in the days when I had my Blackberry Curve 9320, and even then I was pretty impressed. What I love about the cases and skins, though, is that they're all customisable, so you can choose from your own photos or select from hundreds of free designs on the website.

As you can see above, I chose a design based on one of my favourite photographs of beautiful pink architecture, and I have to say - I'm very happy with how it turned out on the case!

My screen could definitely do with a wipe!

The cases are specially designed using temperature resistant polymers along with the highest quality materials, and from what I can tell so far, it definitely is a high-quality product. The case feels sturdy, not flimsy or easily breakable, and I will admit I have dropped my phone a few times since buying the case.. no damage has been visibly done to the case, and most importantly, none to the phone!

I also think the case looks really good against the pink colour of the iPhone 5c. I was rather worried at first about whether it would look wrong - I guess, when you already have a coloured phone, you have to be careful about the cases you get! But, I was pleasantly surprised, and am really happy with the overall product.

I'm also delighted to say that I can give you all an exclusive discount to get your very own personalised phone skin!

Just head on over to and type in "freeskin" at the checkout - the only thing you'll need to pay for is postage.

Thanks for the free case Wrappz - I would definitely recommend!

What do you guys think of the case? Where do you like to buy yours from? :-)

Have a fantastic week, hopefully I'll see you again before Christmas! X

  1. Let us know in a few weeks how it's holding up! I always find that to be the biggest issue with my cases.

  2. Hi Isa,

Well it's been a few weeks and it was doing so well up until New Years eve.. after I (drunkenly) fell over, I must have dropped my phone pretty badly and the edges have chipped down a little bit! Other than that though, and a small scratch on my screen, it held up pretty well :-)

    Thanks for stopping by!

    Emily x

  3. The back of the black iPhone 5 is very susceptible to scratching.
Depending on the kind of dirt and dust you’re around, that’s not
surprising. It’s one of the reasons I opted for the white one (though in
hindsight, and admiring my wife’s black 5, I think the black is

While dust occasionally got into the Reveal case I used on my 4, it
wasn’t a big deal. I’d just occasionally wipe it out. But with the
anodized aluminum on the 5, coarse dust can be a problem.

  4. I'm surprised you said the black one is more susceptible to scratching than the white - i'd definitely be more worried about scratching a white one!

  5. Its very interesting post, good job
